About Us

About Us
Welcome to No Limits Performing Arts Studio,

No Limits Performing Arts Studio offers a vary of dance and performing arts classes for all ages. We are located at The Play Place in Elmsford NY, with over 3,500 square feet of studio space featuring a big beautiful lounge, closed circuit TV viewing and high-grade Marley & Wood Floor studios. No Limits is one of the top dance facilities in the area. It's the only place where siblings won't be bored as they can play at Westchester's best indoor place to play while they wait. They can also take a soccer or tennis class or just hang out with mom or dad in the lounge.

At No Limits Performing Arts Studio,  your child will not only learn to dance in a fun and comfortable environment, they will also get exposure to all of the performing arts through our brand new Theatre Program Broadway Bows and brand new theatre classes on our schedule.  No Limits reflects our belief that dance and performing arts are limitless in what they offer. Dance provides many benefits such as strength, agility, poise and confidence. Our dance and theatre classes will not only allow your child to obtain skills to become an artist but will also provide them with benefits such as learning to work in a group setting by encouraging them to develop connections and relationships with their peers.

At No Limits Performing Arts, we take pride in implementing quality dance and arts education for the early Pre-School Beginner Performer the older Advanced Performer and everything in between.  We have expanded our school beyond by providing additional programs and classes for students to become all around performing artists.

Students look forward to performing in the Annual Recital Showcase, and Dancers who yearn for the stage beyond their recital can audition for our Dance Team. Students who show passion for more than dancing, can participate in our Broadway Bows Theatre Program and experience singing, dancing & acting all in once scene.

Once a child is walking and able to follow simple instructions, they are ready to enter the fun and engaging world of dance and performing arts. You’re never too young or too old to start dancing and performing. Just pick a class and go for it!

We look forward to dancing and performing with you soon!

Mission

Our mission is to create a space for our students to express themselves through the art of creative movement. We strive to give our students the necessary skills needed to progress as dancers and all around performing artists. Dancers are trained in various styles and techniques and challenged to work hard. As important as these skills are to obtain, it is even more imperative for us as educators to give students freedom of expression and encourage them to develop connections with each other, themselves and the world around them. We want our future artists to have fun in a safe and comfortable environment while learning key techniques which will feed their passion and drive for performance and dance.

Our Safety Precautions

Our Safety PrecautionsOur Safety Precautions
We want to constantly keep our dance families updated on our steps moving forward. We have opened back up for in studio classes while still having our virtual platform and option available to all.

YOUR DANCER’S SAFETY IS OUR TOP PRIORITY!

Below please find some precautions that we are taking while in the studio:

  • All of our staff members will be required to wear a mask at all times while in the studio.
  • Students are to wash their hands with soap and water both before class and after class.
  • Dancers are required to wear masks at all times while in our studio.
  • “Six-Feet-Safe” in the classrooms: The floor is marked to show dancers where to stand. Many of our little ones are familiar with having designated spots in the studio.
  • Dance Boxes are taped out on the floors of each studio.
  • Our studios will be wiped down, cleaned and disinfected before and after each class.
  • We have special disinfectant supplies, equipment and materials that we have been using to assure cleanliness and safety.
  • Our lobby area will be thoroughly disinfected throughout the day.
  • Upon our initial reopening, we will not be using our dressing rooms, dancers are to bring their dance bags into the studio and will have spots six feet apart for their belongings. Please limit the amount you bring into the studio.
  • We ask that dancers come dressed for class with the exception of shoe changing in which will be done six feet apart.
  • Social-Distancing upon entering & exiting the building.
  • Barres will be sprayed with disinfectant in between classes, if used at all.
  • Props will not be used in the beginning of our reopening.
  • Our restrooms will be disinfected at the beginning and end of the day and in between classes.
  • It is encouraged to bring your own water bottles.
  • Class times may be modified for transition times and to limit the number of people in the building.

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP:
• “Drop-Off” your dancer at the front entrance. To limit the number of people in the building, only students, staff and Faculty will be allowed in the studio. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in this matter. For younger dancers, staff will greet dancers at the door to be sure they are under supervision at all times.
• Dancers will be greeted at the door, their temperatures will be taken, and they will be escorted to their classroom if needed.
• Teachers will assign each dancer their “Parking Spot” in the studio (for their belongings) & “Dancing Spot”.
• Pick up will be curbside and we will send our dancers out safely after taking their temperatures.

ALTERNATIVE FOR FAMILIES NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THESE PRECAUTIONS:
• If you are not comfortable with bringing your child to class, we will be offering your child the option to remain at home taking classes via Zoom as our teacher teaches class in the studio to the students who return.

WHO SHOULD NOT COME TO CLASS:
• Any dancer feeling ill should stay home. (Fever, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, etc.)
• Any dancer living with a family member who is ill should stay home.
• If someone in your household works in healthcare, they must NOT have been caring for COVID-19 patients for a period of two weeks before you are allowed to attend class.

We are so very excited to return to classes at No Limits Performing Arts but we must insist that everyone take a very serious and cautious approach. We ALL want to stay safe & well! We are so thankful that you entrust your precious children to us; we love them as our own!

Seussical Jr.

Seussical Jr.
Oooh and Oooh the Winningest Walloping Waltzing Whiz-zinger
is Coming to No Limits Performing Arts Studio!

BROADWAY BOWS…
ALL THINKERS OF STRANGE AND WONDERFUL THINKS
TO BRING DR. SEUSS’ CAT IN THE HAT AND OTHERS
FROM THE PAGE TO THE STAGE
WITH THEIR PRODUCTION OF SEUSSICAL JUNIOR

Whimsical and Magical Musical of Seussical Proportions Opens Sunday, June 27th.

Broadway Bows students will unlock the imaginations of Westchester citizens when they bring the Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie La Bird, the Whos in Whoville and other Seuss favorites to life with their production of Seussical JR., it was announced today by the Cat in the Hat and Drew Cohen, president and CEO of Music Theatre International (MTI). Co-conceived by Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty and Eric Idle, Seussical JR. combines Dr. Seuss tales (…and tails!) using the plinker-plunker of many musical styles – ranging from Latin to pop, swing to gospel, and R&B to funk – as colorful as the classic books.

“It takes a lot of creativity and focus to bring this whimsical world to life, while communicating its subtle themes and meaningful lessons,” says Cohen. “MTI hopes their audience outnumbers all the Whos in Whoville,” he adds. MTI, through its MTI’s Broadway Junior™ division, works with the authors of classic musicals to create special editions suitable for students to perform.

“Now, I’m here, there is no telling what may ensue with a Cat such as me, and a Thinker like you!,” says the Cat in the Hat.

Horton will hear a Who and cheerful chaos will ensue when Broadway Bows presents Seussical JR. on Sunday June 27th at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM EST at The White Plains Performing Arts Center, 11 City Place White Plains, NY 10601. Tickets will be on sale starting April 12th.

Seussical JR. begins with a young boy named JoJo who conjures up the Cat in the Hat with his powerful imagination and is whisked to the Jungle of Nool for a fantastical adventure. There JoJo learns of the plight of the tiny citizens of Whoville, who live on a planet the size of a speck of dust. Their sole protector is Horton the Elephant, who is the only one with large and sensitive enough ears to hear them bipping and beeping and playing their oompahs. The small world is threatened by Sour Kangaroo and the Wickersham Brothers, who in disbelief that a world could be so small, try to steal the dust-speck so they can cast it into a vat of Beezle-Nut oil. During all of this drama, Horton has not noticed that he has an admirer, Gertrude McFuzz. She blames his indifference on her one-feather short tail and endeavors to find a way to change her looks. Meanwhile, Horton’s friend, Mayzie La Bird, is bored of perching on her nest, and convinces the watchful elephant to sit on her egg so she can take a vacation. The Cat follows all of these storylines and finally casts the boy into his own as the irresponsible son of Mr. and Mrs. Mayor of Whoville, JoJo, who ultimately saves his whole tiny world with one big, imaginative “think.”

Seussical JR. is presented through special arrangement with and all authorized materials are supplied by Music Theatre International 423 West 55th Street, New York, NY 10019 (212) 541-4684, mtishows.com.
